FREDDY'S NIGHTMARES

Outtake from "Safe Sex," depicting a scene where young Dana (Andy Woodworth) is dreaming of fornication with Caitlin (Devon Pierce). Freddy pops out of Dana's chest, spits out his heart, screams, "Time for the Big Bang!" and gives Dana a heart attack. Not used because (A) it was too grotesque for TV, and (B) the camera tilt-down during the shot makes the pectorals of the prosthetic chest look as though Freddy is emerging from Dana's butt. This was the final episode of FREDDY'S NIGHTMARES ever filmed, and a total of eight minutes was cut as too sexy or too violent, forcing the last-minute shooting of a whole psychiatrist's office wraparound not in the original story.
