SPIRITS OF THE AIR, GREMLINS OF THE CLOUDS (1989)

SPIRITS OF THE AIR, GREMLINS OF THE CLOUDS (1989)

A dreamlike film set in an unspecified post-apocalyptic future, SPIRITS was
written and directed by Alex Proyas and shot in the Australian outback
desert of Broken Hill (ROAD WARRIOR country). Unlike Alex's more noirish
work, much of it was shot in broad daylight and wide-open spaces.
It's a crime that the award-winning score by composer (and frequent
Proyas collaborator) Peter Miller is not yet available in a U.S. edition.
Peter most recently worked as sound designer for the American remake of
RINGU (aka THE RING).
